It’s 9:30 in the morning and already 85 degrees. I slept until 7 a.m. (Fred finally woke me up) and I’m looking at all of our animals lying prostrate on the wooden parts of the floor. Slow down, relax, take a deep breath, don’t rush, be easy with yourself today, seems to be the message…. and I am listening. So what better thing to do than a give-away? It is an easy and fun thing to do.
If you would like to enter this give-away, then just comment with a word (or 2) that best illustrates the way you would like to feel, or have more, of in your life (examples; happy, calm, excited, faith, inner-peace, self-love) and I’ll choose a random entry on Friday, June 1st . The winner will receive a tin of the skin balm that I make….my words are, self-confidence.

Watch your words, they become your actions
Watch your actions, they become your habits
Watch your habits, they become your character
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”

Janet Cavallo! I echo your word: serenity. I actually sat down with my Angel Cards yesterday, and picked this card after shuffling seven times which I always do, loving the number seven! I picked this card and its message was just what I needed to hear and take to heart. Feeling anything but serene, in fact rather unsettled, the card reminded me that (and these are Doreen Virtue’s words) “you can feel serene even in the midst of great turmoil. The peace of mind is within you. It’s a mistake to think that you have to wait until your life is problem free before you can be happy and peaceful. The opposite is actually true. First, you work toward serenity, and THEN your life challenges lessen and disappear. Serenity is your natural state of mind, and the angels are now working with you to actualize this.”
Sort of like the eye of the storm? It’s supposed to be calm there, though externally the winds rage. All about accessing that place. Peace, and serenity to all today.

My words are peaceful and secure.
At 75 and still working to supplement my Social Security which I live on… it would be nice to feel secure enough that I could quit working and be with my boyfriend who lives two hours away and wants me to move there to be with him. That would bring peace and security to me….however I am so hesitant to do this as I would have to sell my condo to pay off my bills and its so hard for me to come to this decision.
Honor my inner voice…
